4 year old program

Our 4-year-old program, for students turning 4 by September 30th, offers families a traditional 2.5 hour time frame in either a 3 or 4 day program.  The morning class has a maximum of 20 children with a minimum of 2 teachers and the afternoon class has a maximum of 15 children with 2 teachers.  The morning program has an option to add a 2:00 pick up 3 days per week.

The daily schedule follows a play-based curriculum and includes:

  1. Outdoor exploration on our newly renovated playground
  2. Social Skills incorporating the Choose Love curriculum
  3. Mindfulness, Yoga, Brain Gym
  4. Faith Formation through snack prayer, bible stories, and Chapel Time
  5. Music and Art
  6. Language Arts, Math and Science, Gardening
  7. Fine and Gross Motor Skills
  • Monday thru thursday

    arrival 8:45-9:00, dismissal 11:30 (2:00 Ext Day)

    Optional Add-ons:

    Extended Day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 2:00


    arrival 12:30, dismissal 3:00

Social Emotional Development

  • Cuts drawn shape w/out assistance
  • Holds pencil with ease
  • Begins to make recognizable shapes, letters and representational drawings
  • Grasps and manipulates small items
  • Exhibits eye hand coordination

Cognitive Development

  • Observes and examines objects to gather information
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills
  • Points to and names colors
  • Demonstrates position words
  • Demonstrates knowledge of patterns
  • Recognizes and names shapes
  • Recognizes written numbers 1-10
  • Counts objects using one to one correspondence
  • Puts objects in size order

Language Skills
